Marie-Jeanne Bambu was born in the province of Bandundu. She is the fifth child of a large family of 8. She holds a technician diploma in Agriculture and Animal Husbandry. Miss Bambu works as a consultant for the NGO « Bâtir Ensemble ». She speaks French, Kikongo, Kimbala while her mother tongue is Lingala.

Personal project - While an agronomist by training, Marie-Jeanne Bambu wishes to improve her current knowledge regarding the start-up of agricultural businesses. The BDA training program is, for her, the best opportunity to achieve her goal and she intends to start her own business in the region of Plateau des Bateke about 138km from Kinshasa.
Her business, Ferme Moringa Santé RDC, will specialize in the cultivation of Moringa, a plant she wishes to exploit in a sensible, earth-friendly manner. An ambassador of nature, she will use cultivation and harvesting methods that are in harmony with the Earth.
