Originally from Kasaï Oriental, Joseph obtained a State diploma in Chemistry-Biology in 1998. He then studied rural development in Bukavu where he graduated in 2005. He is now finishing his second year of studies toward obtaining a development license. Throughout his career, he has had the opportunity to work with numerous NGOs in the province of Sud-Kivu and also in Burundi.
