Guelord LUVENGI LUKAKU
A native of Lower Congo, Guelord Luvengi is the youngest of a family of nine children. The son of a teacher and a merchant, he graduated from the Institut Supérieur Agro- Vétérinaire in Crop and Livestock Production, He worked in Quality Control for a producer of plantains and bananas. Specialist environmental protection, he also worked in the reforestation of fast growing species, before becoming manager of the Thousand Birds Farm (FEMIOX).
Personal project - he dove into this training program because he wants to master the production of medicinal plants of quality. He also wants to acquire the techniques of marketing and management because, at the end of the program, he wants to create a company in the cultivation of medicinal plants. The location of his business is Kasangulu in Bas-Congo.
Thousand Birds is a company rooted in the small valley of Kimwenza, where the lines of the hills draw two curves. Adding a do to this design allows the eye to see the form of a bird in flight. One can see a dove, the symbol of peace that is indeed the peaceful desire of the wealth-sharing planned by Guelord. For him, the number one thousand represents the abundance and the bird signifies life and the different species around him. This company has already taken off and is likely to go very far.
